Duku Highway
The Duku Highway is widely regarded as one of the most spectacular roads in China. Crossing the Tianshan Mountains, it showcases dramatic changes in landscape within a single journey—from snow-covered peaks to lush valleys and rugged canyons. Known for the phrase “four seasons in one day,” it offers an unforgettable driving experience through diverse natural environments.
Kalajun Grassland
Kalajun Grassland is one of the most unique grassland landscapes in Xinjiang, known for its soft, rolling contours that resemble the curves of the human body. Set against a backdrop of snow mountains and open skies, the grassland presents a harmonious blend of movement and tranquility. Its natural formations create a visually dynamic and almost surreal environment.
Nalati Grassland
Nalati, meaning “the place where the sun first rises,” is one of the most famous grasslands in Xinjiang. Located at high altitude, it features vast open plains, grazing horses, and distant snow-capped mountains. Rich in Kazakh culture, the area offers a unique glimpse into nomadic traditions and a lifestyle deeply connected to nature.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Urumqi
Arrive in Urumqi and transfer to your hotel. During free time, you may visit the Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar or explore the city’s local culture. In the evening, enjoy panoramic views of the city from Hongshan Park.
Day 2 – Urumqi - Kuitun (230KM)
Travel along the scenic S101 Highway, often referred to as the “Tianshan Geological Gallery.” Visit Anjihai Grand Canyon, where dramatic cliffs and layered rock formations create a striking natural landscape.
Day 3 – Kuitun - Yining (455KM)
Explore the stunning Sayram Lake, known for its vivid colors and vast surroundings. Continue through Guozigou Valley, a historic gateway along the Silk Road, before arriving in Yining.
Day 4 – Yining - Zhaosu (190KM)
Visit Kazanqi Village to experience local culture before heading onto the Yizhao Highway. This mountain road is known for its winding routes and rapidly changing weather conditions.
Day 5 – Zhaosu - Tekes (300KM)
Visit Xiata Valley and the Cloud Grassland before heading to Tekes, known as Bagua City. The city’s unique design features no traffic lights and a layout based on ancient Chinese philosophy.
Day 6 – Tekes - Gongliu (120KM)
Travel to Kalajun Grassland, where rolling hills and open landscapes create a vaisually dynamic environment. The area is known for its natural curves and expaansive views.
Day 7 – Gongliu - Nalati (270KM)
Arrive at Nalati Grassland, one of the most famous in Xinjiang. Experience Kazakh nomadic culture and enjoy the vast open plains surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
Day 8 – Nalati - Urumqi (270KM)
Travel along the northern section of the Duku Highway, one of China’s most scenic roads. The route showcases dramatic changes in landscape across the Tianshan Mountains.
Day 9 – Departure
Return to Urumqi and conclude the journey.

Who is Eligible
- Rider with valid driving license from native country, with moderate riding experience.
- International Driving Permit is required.
- For routes in China, temporary driving license will be issued on arrival.
- For routes in China, rider has to be under the age of 70.

- Bike option is subject to availability upon booking confirmation.
- Tour fare quoted is valid for bike selections of up to 1000cc, supplement applies for bike selections over 1000cc.
- Bikes selections are different based on destinations, we’ll advice accordingly

Riding Gear
- You may bring your own riding gears or rent/buy at destination country.
- Riding gears are not included with motorcycle rental unless otherwise specified.
- Tail box may be included in certain model/routes.
Group Size
The maximum riders in each group is capped at 16 to ensure the best quality, riding rhythm, engagement & safety.
Pillion
Pillion packages are available, however some routes are technical, so pillion riders should be comfortable with mountain riding.
Safety & Support
- A comprehensive e-safety guide will be included.
- Pre tour briefing will be conducted upon motorcycle handover.
- Briefing will also be conducted daily before departure by local guide.
- Support van is included for group tours.
Insurance
Comprehensive vehicle insurance for motorcycles with deductible according to the booked motorcycle model.

- Deposit of RM5000/person is required for booking.
- Full payment shall be made 45 days before departure.
