This is China few travellers truly experience — border towns, rainforest highways, ancient tea mountains, and river valleys that carry stories older than dynasties. From the highland lakes of Kunming to the tropical heat of Xishuangbanna, this journey flows through dramatic canyon roads, UNESCO rice terraces, and remote ethnic villages near the Laos frontier. It’s a ride of contrasts: cool plateau mornings, mist-covered tea forests, and golden temples rising from jungle landscapes. If you’ve been searching for something raw, authentic, and unforgettable — this is it.

Tour Highlight
Yuanyang Rice Terraces
Carved into mountains over centuries by the Hani people, the Yuanyang Rice Terraces are a masterpiece of human endurance and harmony with nature. For riders, the approach roads are just as captivating — winding along ridgelines with endless layered views below. At sunrise or late afternoon, the terraces shimmer like liquid gold, making every kilometer to reach them worthwhile.
Xishuangbanna
Xishuangbanna feels like Southeast Asia tucked inside China — tropical air, palm-lined roads, golden temples, and Dai ethnic culture. The rainforest highways here are smooth and flowing, with humidity rising and jungle scents filling the air. It’s a dramatic shift from Yunnan’s highlands, giving riders a sense of crossing not just distance, but climate and culture.
Jingmai Mountain
Home to some of the world’s oldest cultivated tea forests, Jingmai Mountain offers quiet, misty roads climbing through ancient groves of Pu’er tea trees. The ride is intimate and atmospheric — narrower roads, rolling hills, and villages where tea culture is a way of life. It’s not about speed here; it’s about rhythm, aroma, and connection to a landscape shaped by centuries of tradition.
